Service use

You are responsible for using Essia only for lawful business communications, keeping credentials secure and ensuring message content matches the declared purpose.

Accounts and credentials

Account access, API keys and session tokens must be protected. You must notify Essia if you believe credentials were exposed or misused.

Delivery and availability

SMS delivery depends on carriers, routes, destination rules and recipient devices. Essia may provide reasonable status, request ID and support information, but cannot guarantee every carrier outcome.

Fees

Usage fees may depend on destination, channel, volume, route quality, support level and commercial agreement. Taxes or carrier charges may apply.

Suspension

Essia may suspend traffic that appears abusive, unlawful, harmful to network quality or inconsistent with these terms.

Acceptable Use

• Do not send phishing, fraud, malware, harassment, hate, illegal content or traffic designed to evade opt-out or consent requirements.
• Do not use Essia to send unsolicited promotional messages without an appropriate legal basis and recipient choice.
• Do not overload endpoints, attempt unauthorized access or hide the origin of abusive traffic.
• Maintain accurate records for OTP, operational notices and optional marketing communications.
